Best known today only as sister-ship to the Titanic and the Britannic, this White Star liner had a long and fascinating career of her own.
Originally the German liner Vaterland, this ship was seized by the United States in 1917 and renamed the Leviathan, later becoming became the flagship of the United States Lines.
The Engelhardt collapsible boat was designed at the turn of the 20th century, and is remembered because of its use on the Titanic.
